[5 3/16 x 3 1/2 in.]), various original bindings, including several variant bindings, of glazed pictorial cloth or imitation leather, 1884 vol. in original wrappers, 1897 vol. in original roan gilt, 1888, 1890 and 1891 vols. with original printed mailing wrappers (chipped, 1888 wrapper defective), some edges gilt, housed in a fitted maroon morocco gold-tooled and -lettered case (worn), a few covers lightly soiled or scuffed, stitching loose in 1893 volume, small dampstain in 1886 volume. FIRST EDITIONS, chromoxylographic illustrations after Greenaway. The Almanack for 1889 with a PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION by Greenaway on half-title: "Miss Norman Shaw from Kate Greenaway wishing her a Happy New Year. Dec. 1888".
