PRESIDENT LINCOLN AND HIS CABINET

An attractive decorative relic of the President and cabinet, prepared for unknown reasons, but perhaps to be sold to benefit the Sanitary Commission, a cause for which Lincoln frequently furnished examples of his signature.

Provenance: Calvin Bullock (sale, Christie's New York, 19 December 1986, lot 121).
