Isabel Pickering Beckurts was the daughter of Major Charles L. Beckurts, a career Army officer, and Isabel W. Pickering, the daughter of a pioneering Cincinnati family. Mrs. Ehrman was born in 1901 at Bedloe's Island, New York, and died in 1961 at Miami Beach, Florida.
