Of hemispheric form with waisted truncated conical cover and hollow flame finial, the handles as gilt eagle heads suspending fixed rings, finely painted in colours with 'Shanklin Chine Looking Outwards, Isle of Wight', named in script on the underside, reserved on the pale aqua ground elaborately gilt with a band of foliate scrolls just below the rim moulded with a white beaded band, the foot gilt with 'cracked ice', one eagle's beak chipped, minor scratches to gilding on cover
