Carved and painted with a central continuous scene of a river landscape with a pheasant, small birds, a waterfowl, a flying crane and a pair of deer set in a river landscape with gnarled pine trees rising from grassy banks with pierced rockwork and numerous flowers, a gently flowing river meandering through the scene, the central scene framed with a fine key pattern surround and numerous loose flower and fruit sprays forming the border, the reverse plain, age cracks
