Lot Essay

F. Scott Fitzgerald and Others was executed circa 1937 and depicts the celebrated writers of the Algonquin group. The second figure from the left can be firmly identified as F. Scott Fitzgerald. The lady on the far right is most likely Dorothy Parker, and the figure on the far left is possibly S.G. Perelman or David Selznick.
