Claudius Linossier (1893-1953) was a talented metalsmith who learned the art of dinanderie from Jean Dunand. According to the book by Jean Gaillard, Un Lyonnais Célèbre des Années Vingt, Claudius Linossier, Dinandier, the artist created only about 3600 pieces during his career.
