BONNIE AND CLYDE, 1967
An off-white linen summer dress worn by Faye Dunaway in the film in which she co-starred with Warren Beatty. The short sleeve, v-neck dress was designed to replicate the period of the 1930s and has a front button closing and lace trimmed sleeve. A group of costume sketches by Theadora van Runkle include a charcoal and watercolor rendering of "Bonnie" as poet and four sketches on illustration board of "Clyde". A black and white photograph of Faye Dunaway wearing the dress accompanies the lot--8 x 10 in., sketches are 20 x 15 in. (3)
