A FRENCH SILVER SIX PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON SILVER PLATED PARCEL GILDED SALVER, maker's mark of Boin Taburet, late 19th century, (with traces of gilding), comprising tea urn with detachable burner, teapot, side handled coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and two handled waste bowl, in the neo-Classic taste, each panelled pear shaped, on four foliate shell headed reeded tapering supports, flat chased arcade panels to lower body, two sides with oval monogrammed cartouche, enclosed and surmounted by applied cast ribbon-tied laurel festoons, the pots with berried-laurel wrapped spout, ivory handle, the partly lobed hinged cover with berried laurel rim, and topped by cast fruit cluster finial, the tea urn with two upcurved handles, short reeded spout, detachable cover and lamp--the tea urn 16in. (40.6cm.) high, the oval tray also monogrammed, with waisted corners, with applied gilded berried laurel rim with elaborate acanthus grips--34in. (86.3cm.) long, the silver gross weight 222oz. (7)
