A SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SET, maker's mark of Hugh Wishart, New York, circa 1810, teapot apparently unmarked, comprising teapot, two lion's mask drop ring handled covered sugar bowl and covered cream jug, each urn form with bowed shoulder, on rectangular pedestal base raised on four ball feet, two sides engraved with monogrammed shield form cartouche enclosed by trailing foliage, the collar engraved with trelliswork and stylized flowers and foliage, with raised flat topped cover surmounted by ball finial on serrated calyx, the teapot with hinged cover, wood harp form handle and panelled swan's neck spout--the teapot 8½in. (21.5cm.) high, gross weight 61.5oz. (3)
