LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY, BLUE SCEPTRE MARK

With gilt scrolling arched griffin head handles, the amphora form vase finely painted with a naked concubine standing on a leopard skin rug clinging to a yellow drape, being shown by two slave traders to a Roman Emperor and a young onlooker, the background filled with worldly artifacts, within a rectangular gilt surround, the sides with pale-green, blue, ruby lustre and cream panels elaborately gilt with animals and urns in landscape and with stylized scrolling foliage between lavender bands gilt with key pattern, the rim, neck and foot with gilt-enriched ruby lustre, on a square base, one ear restuck, tiny scratch to painting
