The round marble clockface having etched and gilt stylized numerals, the works stamped A.F., the pyramid form marble clock case flanked by bronze sphinx torso mounts, surmounted by a figure of Cleopatra, the lower body mounted with Egyptian masks, the matching obelisks of standard form etched with hieroglyphics and decorated with similiar bronze mounts
