A BLUE AND WHITE SLENDER BALUSTER VASE, ROLWAGEN TRANSITIONAL

The elongated body painted in inky tones of blue with a narrative scene of a young military officer wearing a long pheasant feather in his headress standing before a tent surrounded by attendants, to one side stands a groom holding the tether of a horse flanked on the other side by two servants presenting trays of food, all below a band of foliate scroll incised on the high shoulder and a band of upright leaf tips on the narrow, trumpet-shaped mouth
