VINTAGE GAME USED HOCKEY STICKS AND PHOTO
During the 1960's, the Chicago Blackhawks instituted a system of placing "guards" at the entrances to locker rooms to keep out unwanted visitors. One of these "guards" acquired twelve game used sticks, including three goalie sticks from players visiting the Chicago Blackhawks. All sticks show game use and original tape. Players include Hall of Famers Gordie Howe, Belivaeu, Geoffrion, Plante (goalie stick) Delvechio, and seven other players. Also included in the lot are four vintage pucks (attached to a stick), a 1963/64 Chicago Blackhawks team photo signed by over twenty-five players, and a letter of authenticity from the wife of the "guard" who acquired the sticks.
