The broken arched pediment above a pair of doors with later rectangular bevelled mirrors enclosing an arrangement of ten drawers, the slant lid fitted with pigeonholes and small drawers and with leather-lined writing surface over two short and three long drawers on bracket feet, inlaid throughout with quarter-veneered striped parquetry and striped crossbanded borders, mirror plates distressed
