A GEORGE III SILVER TEA CADDY AND A CREAM JUG, the first maker's mark of Butty & Hearne, London, 1762, inverted pear form on circular base, divided in thirds by treble swirled flutes surrounding chased pendant flowers, floral filled urn, and one initialled cartouche, the base and raised cover conformingly decorated, topped by flower finial--marked under cover and base--6¼in. (15.8cm.) high, the initialled baluster cream jug on three splayed supports, leaf capped handle--maker's mark worn--1764--4in. (10.1cm.) high, together with a circular sugar bowl, engraved with coat-of-arms within foliage--altered, bearing marks for London, 1759--3¾in. (9.5cm.) diam., 15oz. (3)
