Each carved in low relief, one with a bust of a courtesan dressed as Daruma beside a flowering branch lacquered in red and green, the reverse with a fly whisk and scroll; one with a woodblock engraver, etched on the reverse with a seated woman viewed from the back, signed Koju and with kakihan; one with four fish, signed Gyokkosai; one with Sojobo holding a rui sceptre, a small bird etched on reverse, signed Masahiro--2, 1 7/8, 1 5/8 and 1½in. (5.1, 4.8, 4.1 and 3.9cm.) diam. (4)
