The inro of oval shape lacquered in gold takamaki-e with a scene of Fukurokuju seated beneath a large pine, examining a scroll with two companions, the reverse with two children and a crane, heads and limbs of the figures of inlaid soft metal, crane of inlaid mother-of-pearl, interior cases in gyobu-nashiji; fitted with an ivory bead ojime and an ivory manju netsuke carved in sunken relief with a bust of Sojobo--3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high
