19th century,
the first, a brown-glazed redware puzzle jug, baluster shaped with circular rim six applied spouts in the form of lions' heads and a recumbent lion, applied strap handle above a perforated and foliate pierced neck, on a circular foot; the second, a salt-glazed puzzle jug, baluster-shaped, with circular geometric pierced rim with three spouts above a perforated and foliate pierced neck, the body molded with a scene of drinking figures, on a circular foot--9in. high; 7½in. high (2)
