AN ETRUSCAN BRONZE FIGURE OF A WARRIOR
CIRCA MID 5TH CENTURY B.C.

Standing with his weight on his right foot, the left leg relaxed and bent at the knee, his left arm at his side, the right arm raised and originally holding a spear, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet, the crest with incised details, tapering down the middle of his back, the cuirass worn over a short tunic, the grieves incised, the beard and mustache incised, the eyes with detailed lids beneath raised brows, on a pedestal base
