A Victorian swing-handled bon-bon dish
of fluted shaped circular form, the centre with a plaque depicting York Minster in relief surrounded by flowers, foliage and C-scrolls, the sides chased with stylised ears of corn, flowers and foliage, the floral and foliate-decorated handle incorporating an oval cartouche, the piece engraved :"Mr Chrisr. Milburn to Doctor Saner as a small token of gratitude for his kind attention to Mrs Milburn during her long and dangerous illness in 1850", the reverse of the cartouche engraved: "For his Daughters Elizabeth & Emily", Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1845 - 6½in. (16.50cm.), 5.75oz.
