The stems modelled as dragons supporting natural shell dishes, the knopped and domed bases chased with bamboo shoots and flowering foliage, one inscribed Presented to the Hon. E. J. Ackroyd, Acting Chief Justice, on his retirement from the Goverment Service by the Officers of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, March 1895, and with the maker's stamps, on pierced and carved hardwood stands, each with its original carrying case
