Auguste-Maximilien Delafontaine (1813-1892)
The Delafontaine foundry flourished in the latter part of the 18th century, making mounts for the Sevres Factory. The foundry continued in production through to the early 20th century. Works from the mid 19th century include the doors to the Panthenon in Paris and castings for the Royal Chapel at Dreux. They exhibited at the Universal Exposition in London in 1862.
