A LOUIS XV STYLE KINGWOOD AND ORMOLU-MOUNTED VITRINE, late 19th century

Of bombe form, the broken pediment centred by an acanthus leaf cresting, the glazed door enclosing a yellow silk damask lined interior between uprights headed by espagnolette clasps, the lower section decorated in the manner of Vernis Martin with landscapes and putti playing in seascapes, on slightly splayed legs each with an acathus clasp and cabochon sabots
