with foliate bronze mounts, decorated in hiramakie and takamakie to the top with deer beside Italianate buildings among pine, prunus and rockwork on a riverbank overlooking birds in flight above two elephants beside further buildings, the sides with further deer in similar landscapes, gilt handles, the interior in nashiji, European iron hingesand related stand -- 62½.in (158.8cm) wide, late 17th/early 18th Century, (extensive damage).
