the ivory satin ground elaborately worked in coloured silks in different stitches and coloured purl with King Charles with ruffled breeches and a cloak lined with white feathers simulating ermine, beneath a canopy with the lion and the unicorn and embellished with spangles, and his queen in a robe decorated with flowers and another gentleman wearing spurs, their faces heightened with pink cheeks, with a castle behind, flower sprigs and insects--13½ x 9¾in.
