A pair of enamelled vases and covers
cylindrical, of pale green tint, painted and gilt with equestrian figures of Renaissance soldiers, one blowing a trumpet, the other banging a drum, the reverse with military devices, between arcaded bands of scrolls, seeds and applied prunts, the lower sections swollen above circular hollow feet, the covers domed and surmounted by hollow knopped finials -- 23in. (58.4cm.) high, late 19th/20th century (some slight wear and flaking)
