The ewer carved as a flattened lotus seed pod issuing from one of a bunch of stems forming the handle, another stem growing to the leaf-shaped spout, the remaining stems with leaves, flowers and buds surrounding the body and two birds, the top of the spout with a frog strut, the cover with two frogs and an openwork bird and flower finial, the cups of hollow-leaf shape with flowers and birds, the polished stone of even white tone
