A RARE PAIR OF WHITE-GLAZED ANHUA-DECORATED CUPS
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD

Each with delicate tapering sides rising to a slightly flaring rim, incised in anhua around the body with two striding five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst fire-scrolls, all under a fine even white glaze (one with two minute foot chips)

A similar pair of cups were included in the Min Chiu Society special exhibition, Splendour of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1992, no. 203.
