The rectangular plaque carved in relief to one side with a monk holding a fan and a rosery, wearing loose fitting robes tied at the waist with a belt supporting a double-gourd to his back, an obedient dog sits at his feet, flanked by cliffs and pine trees, the reverse with an inscription signed Zi gang, the stone of even yellow tone with russet 'skin' highlighting the carving
