The even semi-translucent stone suffused with patches of paler white and light amber tone, finely carved as a gu beside a smaller archaistic ewer, the cover surmounted by a rodent, supported on the back of a winged chimera grasping a dragon-headed snake with it's claws below a chilong clambering to the sides of each vessel
