Decorated on each of the four sides in identical archaic style with a taotie-mask on the central body, between a band of flower-heads and floral-scroll, a pair of confronted archaistic phoenix above the shoulder and a pair of dragons contesting a flaming pearl at the base, the neck with a taotie mask below a shou character and flanked by a pair of three-clawed dragons, the flaring foot with a further taotie mask, the four sides separated by flanges decorated with kui dragons
