A CARVED JADEITE PENDANT NECKLACE AND A JADEITE AND IVORY NECKLACE
The first necklace comprising fifty-three carved jadeite beads of opaque sea green tone, pierced with coiled dragon motif, the centre suspending a carved rectangular jadeite plaque of semi-translucent bright apple green tone; the second necklace, alternately set with openwork retriculated ivory beads and plain ivory beads, with adventurine quartz spacers, suspending a celadon jadeite plaque with splashes of apple green colour, terminating in an aquamarine drop
Jadeite bead diameter 14.2-14.5 mm.
Length 81.0 cm.
Ivory beads diameter 13.3-17.9 mm.
Length 84.0 cm.
With certificates JC 11867 and JC 11868 dated 6/10/97 from the Hong Kong Jade and Stone Laboratory Limited stating both jadeite are natural and no polymer detected (2)
