Deep punted hand-blown bottle with applied collar and pontil mark. Plain green wax capsule. Good level for age
Bought by the present owner at the sale of the Cellars of Alnwick Castle at Sotheby's on 20th November 1990. The country of origin is uncertain but it is likely to come from either the South of France, Spain, Greece or Cyprus, all of whom were producing excellent desert wines at the time
