A REMARKABLE STOCK OF FINE OLD MADEIRA
Removed from a private cellar on the Island and now lying London, S.E.1
Bual--Vintage 1827
Henriques. Matured in wooden casks until 1935, then put into demijohns and finally bottled in 1988 just before shipping to England. Name and vintage painted on bottles. Special labels will be provided. Short, unbranded corks, as is customary in Madeira
Tasting note: medium-deep amber with pronounced apple-greem rim signifying both age and quality; very forthcoming, slightly lemon-tinged bouquet, high toned, ethereal like a fine old cognac. Rich, intense; medium sweet, full-bodied, powerful wine. (M.B. GVWB II)
