"Fairly deep amber gold, very bright; beautiful bouquet, variously described as heavily crème brulée, vanilla, duck-egg custard; creamy, honeyed, whiff of cox's orange pippins and charred oak, with enormous depth and more to yield. ALways sweer, full-bodied, powerful, masculine, touch of caramel and black treacle, luscious yet could do with even more time in the bottle." GVWB
