Another superb performer at a recent blind tasting of 1982's. Deep garnet color, with slight turn of color at rim. An incredibly rich and decadent nose--a sort of buttered toast with jam and cream cheese. Round, buttery, alcoholic, and very ripe flavors, with a long alcoholic finish blessed by zestful acidity.
