AN IMPERIAL YELLOW SILK BROCADE CLOTH OF STATE
Qianlong
Finely woven on the main rectangular field with nine five-clawed leaping dragons arranged vertically at the center, bordered by three leaping dragons in profile on either side, the dragons woven in gold thread surrounded by vaporous clouds and flaming pearls picked out in salmon, blue, green and cream and reserved on a golden-yellow satin ground, all above a narrow band of the terrestrial diagram at the hem and below a dark blue-ground panel at the top similarly woven with two striding dragons confronting a central frontal dragon
