Of sarcophagus shape, the stepped hinged top with foliate panel finial, enclosing a removable divided interior, the sides with ring handles with vine backplates, on a stand with a reeded frieze and splayed turned reeded legs and turned feet, the lock stamped 'SECURE LEVER LOCK R.COOPER & SON RC&S in a crown', previously but probably not originally with a cross-stretcher, restorations
