NINE JASPER AND STEATITE SCARABS, INCLUDING ROYAL SCARABS OF AMENOPHIS II AND TUTHMOSIS III

Comprising a green jasper royal scarab of Aa-kheper-re (Amenophis II) with maat-feather and crook; another, similar, green glazed steatite of Aa-kheper-re with standing pharaoh holding a crook; and seven steatite scarabs, one with war-crowned royal sphinx protected by winged uraeus, holding a cartouche of Tuthmosis III; another inscribed "The good god, Lord of the Two Lands, Tuthmosis III", the royal cartouche supported by crowned uraei above a nwb-(gold) sign; a scarab holding a sun-disc flanked by maat-feathers and uraei; a seated deity holding a lotus flower; a seated child and scarab; a crowned lion or sphinx(?); and a cartouche-shaped sacraboid, a standing figure on one side and sign for Sais on the other
