A ROMANO-EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA SEATED ISIS SUCKLING HORUS
CIRCA 2ND CENTURY B.C./A.D.
On a throne with hand to her left breast; another fragment with upper body of Harpocrates with finger to his lips, 3.5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) high max.; and a large group of Greek and Roman terracottas including Aphrodite flanked by two dolphins, a seated figure of Socrates, a mask of Herakles, a seated naked female doll, all mounted, and seven other figures, some repaired, 6.1/8 in. (15.6 cm.) high max., all circa 3rd Century B.C./2nd Century A.D.; a Greek protome in the form of a female head, mounted, 5th Century B.C.; a fragmentary Cypriot stylized figure with black painted linear details, 2¼ in. (5.7 cm.) high; and another, larger, with breasts, pointed chin, nose and headdress, 4¾ in. (12 cm.) high, circa 10th-9th Century B.C. (16)
