with acorn finial, the generous funnel bowl with a bust portrait of Henry III, King of France (1574-89), bordered with the inscription HENRICUS III. D.G. GALLIÆ ET POLONIÆ REX CHRISTIANUS. and the date Anno 1583, on knopped and inverted baluster stem with tear inclusions and conical foot, circa 1750, the engraving later (bowl repaired, chips to footrim) -- 39cm. high
