A Chinese composite blue and white garniture
comprising three baluster vases and domed covers with Buddhistic lion finials and two beaker vases, the jars and covers with continuous scenes of figures before pavilions and pagodas in river landscapes of plantain and willow, all within geometric borders of honeycomb and key fret motifs, the beakers with alternating panels of birds amongst peonies and further river landscape scenes -- the beakers 18in. (45.7cm.) high, 19th Century, (minor fritting).
