The case with breakarch top and tapering sides surmounted by a group of a classical mother about to suckle her child, with relief mountts to the sides of a swan suckling her young and to the front of amorini taking milk from rams, the base resting on four models of recumbent winged chimerae, on further plinth with toupie feet, the restored off-white Roman dial with moon hands and signed Le Roy A PARIS, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell
