The case with urn finials and swag mounts to bell top, arched side panels with pierced brass radiant sun frets, the front angles withherm mounts, on scroll and claw feet, the arched dial with silvered Roman chapter ring and matted centre, with winged cherub spandrels, with subsidiary rings to the arch for slow/fast and chime/silent, the twin barrel movement with ting-tang strike on two gongs, stamped on the backplate for Winterhalder & Hofmeier
