Lot Essay

The poster designs in the first mentioned sketchbook were done for an exhibition of the Amsterdam artist society Sint Lucas at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, 8 May-15 June 1904 and for the teacompany E. Brandsma in Amsterdam. It also contains a design for a diploma titled Op Hoop van Zegen.
