Cf: Felix Marcilhac, Jean Dunand, London, 1991, p. 316/7, Nos. 1090-1093 and 1094-1097 for illustrations of large scale panels decorating the smoking room of the ocean liner 'Normandie'. The two panels of this lot are the artist's proofs from a group of four made in 1933.
