Modelled as a man and woman in 18th century dress chasing each other around a flower-garlanded trunk, on a naturalistic base modelled with flowers and clumps of moss, supporting a shaped pierced foliate and ribbon-moulded bowl with applied floral festoons and a pair of ribbon handles, on a shaped foliate-moulded stand applied with festoons of flowers and on scrolling acanthus-moulded feet, with blue crossed swords mark and impressed number 989
