BABE RUTH BASEBALL GLOVE
A first baseman's glove which belonged to Babe Ruth. The glove was obtained from Mrs. Claire Ruth by renowned collector Barry Halper in 1968, upon the occasion of a Yankee Old Timers game. Although Babe Ruth was not primarily a first baseman, he did occasionally play the position. Accompanied by a photograph showing the Babe using a similar first baseman's glove.
