printed and titled in green with a paddle steamer above a city gate and armorial flags, within floral border, circa 1835 (cracked) -- 22.5cm. diam.; and a modern Wedgwood sage-green jasper commemorative dish -- 11cm. diam.

It was from the wreck of the 'Forfarshire' that the heroine Grace Darling and her father William rowed out in treacherous seas to rescue nine survivors off the Longstone lighthouse in September 1838
